Lauren is a registered architect, Maria is a licensed interior designer, and together they bring a combined 40+ years of experience working with private clients, high-end home builders, and in the design-build space. Lauren is detail-oriented and loves a system based approach; Maria specializes in designing tailored spaces that tell a story. Together, they bring a holistic design approach to every project they tackle. This is the "art & science of home design" that we specialize in!

Lauren is a NY native and University of Virginia A-School graduate. She's been a registered architect since 2009, but has been in the profession since 1997. Lauren is passionate about home design and is expert in all things related to the design and detailing of residential architecture.
Maria is a VA native and a graduate of Winthrop University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design. She has built her career in Northern Virginia as an interior designer since 2006, working with homeowners and companies in both residential and commercial settings. Cabinetry design and technical specs are her specialty, coupled with a mastery of interior design.
Together they bring their combined expertise to turn the complexity of home design into a smooth and enjoyable process!
